The Mountain Home Inn is a great, contemporary property. the units are beautiful and exceptionally nice, featuring convenient amenities like a hair dryer. Nestled in a remote, wooded area, it offers a peaceful retreat. Plus, it's located next to Muir Woods National Monument, providing easy access to lovely surroundings, and is close to the entire restaurant scene and the stunning San Francisco Bay. the service throughout our stay was welcoming and friendly.

Overworked staff!

Everything is beautiful here, had a relaxing stay for 2 nights. The staff are affable, we loved them. A double room with the hair dryer has basic facilities you need. The breakfast is great, and the location is excellent close enough to the mountains, Mt Tam and Muir Woods and more restaurants.

The restaurant offered a lovely experience for convenient breakfast and dinner, with delicious dishes. the extra touches like central heating, an iron, and a flat-screen TV with cable channels were a nice treat. the staff was excellent, and the central location of this European hotel was definitely a bonus.

It was a cute little and charming place.

This place is in a fantastic location, right near a hiking trail and a beautiful hill. the staff were all really friendly, which was definitely a nice bonus. I also enjoyed a wonderful restaurant here that made it easy to grab breakfast and dinner. 🌄.

The rooms are simply decorated with beautiful views of the mountain, a terrace, and a working fireplace, making it a great place to stay.

I got a double room with a balcony and fireplace, just as I expected. The breakfast on the deck was great, and all the food was reasonably priced. The location is remote and very close to hiking trails, Muir Beach, and restaurants. Plus, the Old Mill Park is only 2 miles away from the inn.
